Site Build It Tools

I wanted to talk a little about the tools included in your subscription with Site Build It.

If you’ve done much search engine marketing, search engine optimization, keyword research, master keyword lists, market research, keyword based content and so on then you know that all of the above is a lot of work. Simply checking the demand for certain keywords is a massive undertaking. Then, for any effectiveness, you need to organize all this into some sort of sortable table, I use Excel.

Well, the cool thing about Site Build It, and I must also say a double-edged cool thing, is the powerful set of tools that simplify all this for you. You can build your lists, research, make notes, sort by demand, supply and on all within the web based interface (badly needing an upgrade too) saving you copious amounts of time. The double-edged reference I make is simply that you must have an internet connection, you are at the mercy of a remote server, performance isn’t always super and the interface is outdated, but the bottom line, it works.

Time is money. Cliche? Yeah, but true depending on how you look at it. So any time savings for you is money savings if you see it that way. If you could otherwise be earning money, at whatever rate, if you save ten hours of drudgery over the course of researching one web theme than you saved money. If you value your time in other ways, not just as potential money, then you save headache, you save time, you gain free time, whatever.

The Site Build It tools, and the fact that they are database driven remotely hosted, save you a ton of time and effort and streamline the process of developing your theme. All that is lacking is the “do something”. You have to do it. Funny how that is, the overwhelming cause of failure is failure itself, failing to attempt, failing to proceed, failing to succeed.

This brings me to value.

How much is this set of tools worth? $20, $50, $100, $300? Depends on perspective but I make a living doing web development and construction and the time I can save is worth more than the price of admission, that I know.
