So yesterday I finally plunk down the 300 for Site Build It.

Despite having spent five years reading Site Sell, and having purchased Make Your Site Sell, I was still very shocked and disappointed that all I got was an email saying “go see these videos” and “this is your receipt”.

It all came home. This is strictly a web app, not software you install and can control. You can’t have your own domain registrar, you can’t ftp, you can’t do anything with the server except access the functions provided on the web front end. If you don’t have internet connection you are basically hosed.

So to give the old college try you have to set aside all your skills and talents for the time being and read through all of the steps, perform the steps, one by one to really give it a chance.

The upside, you will get something done, the downside, you will get something done only if you take these somewhat juvenile baby steps, even if you are tech savvy and a web programmer.
